McDonalds has been around a long time. In that time many changes took place, advertising and nutrition were two major things that changed. People have been eating their food and enjoy it. Sadly most of those people dont know all the junk that they are really eating. McDonalds has a vast company due to its history, advertising, and addicting food. McDonald’s began with 2 brothers named Maurice Mac and Richard Dick McDonald. Ray Kroc helped it McDonald’s become a worldwide chain of fast food restaurants in the year 1953. They are serving around 68 million customers daily in 119 countries (McDonalds.com). Out of those 68 million customers about 40% of them are young kids under the age of 13. While the McDonalds chain continues to grow, so do their prices. 788 million dollars were spent on advertisements in the year 2012 alone. During that time period McDonald prices skyrocketed. Even though the price was raised on food, the customers kept coming. Thats 63 million customers each and every day they are open. Add that up and it averages out to be 1 billion pounds of beef a year and 1.5 billion toys a year. This is one reason McDonalds is a number one fast food hamburger chain. However the workers only get minimum wage if they are lucky. Most McDonalds employees only get ten dollars.
